Ilkka Pietilä appointed to Fellowship at the Institute for Advanced Social Research
The Rector of the University of Tampere has appointed Ilkka Pietilä for two-year fixed-term Fellowship (Senior Research Fellow) at the Institute for Advanced Social Research.
11 fellowships for Post-doctoral Researchers and Senior Research Fellows were declared open in Spring 2015 call. Six of the fellowships focus on the study of society and five on the study of health. The number of applicants was 230. Pietilä’s project Risk society and the proliferation of medical tests: a case study of prostate cancer is among the projects that focus on the study of society.
