Life-space mobility, environment and functioning in old age (LEAF)

This study examines how environment characteristics affect life-space mobility in old age and life-space mobility and barriers in the environment as predictors of changes in functional ability and mortality. Data of the ”Life-Space Mobility in Old Age” (LISPE) project will be used for the present study. In addition, data from two other research projects (Volunteering, Access to Outdoor Activities and Wellbeing in Older People” (VOW), and Swedish part of the  ENABLE-AGE project) will be used.

Research visits to the Centre for Ageing and Supportive Environments (CASE), University of Lund, will be done. The research project will be carried out at 2011-2015.
